Hi MQers,

in our test environment, one of our application programmers has a strange
occurence of 2009:

Client: Win NT 4.0 SP6 with MQS Client 5.1
Server: OS/390 V2.10 with MQS Server 2.1

This channel is an often-used one both in the test and the production
environment (there up to 500 clients)
and had never any connection errors.

Now the new application has to make a get with wait (about 5-10 minutes) for
one message with about 2.3 MB .
Elder applications never had such message sizes, most times 1 KB.

The 2009 occurs very randomly - about ever 2 to 3 times it is tested.

Such problems were formerly discussed, and a solution seemed to be the hbint
- but this cannot be used on OS/390 .

So, what to do ?
