Hi,
How to check what Axis version does Message broker use ? or any idea what is the Axis version MB use ?
We are using the MB 7.0.2 version.
Application team is saying they are not able to connect with MB Webserive with Axis 1.1 and JDK 1.4. But with Axis 1.3 and JDK 1.6 the webservice call is working. But they have to use the Axis 1.1 and JDK 1.4.
Is there is any compatibility issue of MB Webservice with Axis 1.1 ?
They are getting "java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of range: 0" _________________ Regards,

I am assuming the error is seen on the client?
You shouldnt care what version of AXIS WMB uses, its has a WebService with an exposed interface so long as you adhere to that contract it should work, you dont care how its implemented, you send SOAP in and get a message out. Have you used anyother clients to test like SOAPUI?
I suspect theres a bug in the older AXIS version you are using for your client, have you searched for AXIS defects or looked on the AXIS forums?
You could also look at something like TCPMON tool to capture your request messages so you can compare the 2 requests from the different versions. |

yes this error came in Client system. Its working fine in SOAP UI. Even this is working in Axis 1.3, they are facing issue with Axis 1.1. I tried to search in other site also but couldn't find any information on this.. _________________ Regards,
