Hi,

If you are going to develop WTX maps and trees then u need to install Design Studio in your Windows Box.
Launcher and Command Servers are runtime enviornment for WTX.
Integration Server is required for if you want to use WTX with WMB or WESB or WPS.

I think these information would help you.

As Partha answered Design Studio is for development purposes
Command Server and Launcher are run time env for running one instance or multiple instances at the same time

HA and Clustering is not available for WTX except for Solaris and Windows.

Recommended way of doing is use MQ Round Robin as WTX is not great in HA/Clustering.

Hi,

I have successfully installed wtx 8.3 design studio in win 7 x64. But when I start design studio, I get the following error.

Program: <wtx install di>\java\bin\javaw.exe

The application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.

Have anybody encountered such error? Can someone suggest me some ideas/solutions?

Thanks in advance.
