Hi,

We have MQ5.1 running on HP-UX with Win2000 clients.
A customer of ours has just upgraded to a new ADSL link and is experiencing "Connection Broken" errors apparently after a period of inactivity.
Their local error log shows a succession of
6118, 6183 and 9202 error messages.

Each client is connecting to the server on a SVRCONN channel.
I've noticed that there is an attribute named HBINT (eg. Heartbeat Interval).
If we set this value to a smaller period will this help.
And if so are there any side-effects to doing this.
