Hi

Let me explain my scenario:

I need to transfer data across AS400 partitions. There a about 5 modules each having about 10 files. The total record length(of all files) per module is about 1000 bytes.

and frequency is about 3000 messages a day per module.

The problem is: the message size will vary depending on number of files updated/modified, and there are also one to many relationships between files. changes to one record in one file can lead to changes in N number of records in another file. All these have to be transmitted.

Even if i put the whole thing in one message the size might not be more than 10 - 15K.

Should i use message segmentation and transmit each record as a segment?

i am confused. based on this only i need to proceed further.
