what is smitty complaining about?
generally, it's almost as easy as rm -rf /opt/IBM/MQSI/<v> and rm -rf /var/mqsi. |

Here is the smitty error:
To preview an ISMP product uninstallation for the following products, you
must run the uninstaller in interactive mode:
mqsi60
Preview information for the selected product(s) can be found on the
pre-uninstall summary panel of the wizard.
To do this, you may either use Web-based System Manager or invoke the
appropriate command from the command line:
geninstall -u J:<Product Name>
Any thoughts? |

It sounds like you had to uninstall the base product as well as the fixpack level.
Now you just need to clean up odp.
is that vpd.properties file or something else? I've forgotten?
If you weren't at 6.0, you could open a PMR and find out. If you have an existing 6.1 install on the same system, you might still get help through a PMR, in the context of cleaning up the system. |
