Hi

We have an Issue in QA
The App A(Client Side) is keeping messages into the Qmgr (B) on our side
we are having the Messages pilled up in the Local queues that are related to the App(B) which was supposed to take the messages using the System.Def.Svrconn channel.

we tried by stop n start the System.def.Svrconn channel
we tried Stop n starting the APP(B)
We tried Stop and start the Qmgr(B)
when we did that the messages are processed
but after few mins again started pilling up in the same Qlocals.

In our side Qmgr , Queues, Channels are fine
i checked the logs too didn't find any particular error regarding this.

Please help me where to check
Thanks

Insufficient information provided by you. What type of client application? Which language? What is the queue status when messages are being processed, and when they're not being processed?

Maybe it's switching connections and 'stealing' the messages from your Prod queue manager (see your other post)...

I'm guessing that APP(B) is complaining about getting messages that are not intended for APP(B).

Sounds like an application is opening the wrong queue.

Stop APP(B). Use a utility (like amqsbcg) to browse the messages. The MQMD will identify the userid, data/time, and application id that created the message.

Once you've discovered the application id, look at the source code to see what queue definition the application is opening.

Are you sure they were "processed" or is it just that they were no longer there? Read up on persistence and NPMCLASS.
