Does anyone have or know of a non-commercial UNIX script to monitor and send email alerts on errors in QMGR error logs?

This would be something other than MS0K.

Not hard to write one in Perl. Or python if you're feeling silly.

Why can't you use MS0K?

Possible Uses
• To troubleshoot WebSphere MQ configuration issues.
• To troubleshoot WebSphere MQ application issues.
• To monitor and record the activity on a queue manager.
• To provide event information easily consumable by other tools.

Am not that sure that it would serve your emailing/pager purpose !
But you can write a script of course as rightly said by mqjeff
