Hi,
Somebody moved his qmgr to a different location in the network and reran his script to define his queuemanager in the cluster. Now all of his queues are in the repository twice and the original qmgr is no longer running.
The only difference between these double queues is the qmgr identifier : qmgr_date1_time1 vs qmgr_date2_time2.
I have a polluted repository that I want to clean up.
Does the RESET CLUSTER command support the qmgr identifier?
Can I issue: RESET CLUSTER(clustername) QMNAME(qmgr_date1_time1) ACTION(FORCEREMOVE) ?
I believe the repository will contain the queues for about 90 days and then they will go away. While they are still around, they will not be used in the cluster. At least this is how it worked in 5.1 clustering. There may be new features that clean things up with a command.
