I am running the build for bar files using ANT.
mqsicreatebar command hangs after sometime. CPU goes to 0. if i run the same command in cmd it working fine. This is on windows 2003 server. The same program works with V6 Message broker.
This issue is only for WMB V7. can someone help me to resolve this problem?

mqsicreatebar in v7 is significantly enhanced to perform a lot more validation than it did in v6.1.

So you may be running into issues because the workspace you are giving it is missing resources... or you may be running into issues because the workspace you are giving it has too many resources.

if i run the same command in windows 2003 server CMD works fine
C:\C:\Program Files\IBM\WMBT700\mqsicreatebar.exe -data c:\workspace -b c:\unita\RBC.bar -cleanBuild -p RBC -o RBC\src\RCP_64FileCodesRequest.msgflow

I have java program using ANT to run same exact command and it hangs after sometime. I am just wondering if there is workspace issue then manual command also should give the same result.

well, does the .metadata/log file show what's going on when the ant task locks up?

Suffix your mqsicreatebar command with the trace Option.

Code:

-trace

You should be able to spot the error, if the culprit is not ANT and something in the projects that you are building.
