HI,
I am getting MRM input element as 'Ã‚\237Ã‚\237' from mainframe. Can anyone knows how can CAST this to as INTEGER?
IS there any encoding required?
would appreciate any help

I think if could tell the mainframe o/s would helpful.

From my knowledge base I would recommend trying the following

Code:

cast(InputRoot.BLOB.BLOB AS CHARACTER ENCODING MQENC_INTEGER_NORMAL) ;

MQENC_INTEGER_NORMAL is a MQ constant. ItÂ´s value is:

MQENC_INTEGER_NORMAL 1 X'00000001'
