Saipavan, you connect to the database from ESQL using ODBC. If you using Java Compute Node (JCN), you can connect to a database using JDBC.

Quote your evidence that training has been taken.
And I suspect the "how to" question is looking for sample code & detailed instructions rather than an architectual explaination.

I hate to say I told you so, but I did. On the plus side, it does dismiss my concerns that he's asking for interview question answers mid-interview, hiding in a restroom with a smartphone.
