Attempting to import C structure and receive BIP1890E, invalid path. I use browse to locate the file with path C:\Data\Matmas.h. When the BIP1890E error message displays, it shows the path as C:/Data/Matmas.h with the \ being changed to /.
Thanks,
Craig

Make sure you are specifying Server path, i.e, your file is stored in c:\data directory on WMQI configuration manager server.

Kiran,

Thanks for the reply. When I place the file on the box with the Configuration manager, I must then map a network drive to gain access to the file. Is that correct or is there a simpler way?

Thanks,
Craig

Yes, either you will have to map a drive on server to your local directory where the file resides and give that path while importing, or create a network drive on your local machine, which is mapped to some directory on server where you can copy your files, specify this path while importing the file.

Before doing this, pl try specifying the file name in this way ..
\\yourmachinename\yourshareddirectory\filename.h

and see if this works.

Craig,

Just a hint, however it looks strange: map your server sharing with same drive letter on client machine(s) as far as on server itself, for example:

- import files is in d:\import
- share it as mqsiimport (for mqsi developer group)
- map permanently this sharing as drive x: clients and server

You will get some pros: you have an access for files and don't have to remember 2 different path.
