I put message and keeps GMT, 3 hours late with respect to my setting,
I need the messages stay with my local time, thank you very much
Mq Version 6.0

That's a shame. MQMD.PutTime is in GMT deliberately to prevent problems with messages moving between queue managers in different time zones.

The MQMD PutDate & PutTime fields are always set to GMT by MQ. If you want to carry local time with the message, the putting app should store it as part of the message data or as a message property (MQ v7+).
You can set PutDate & PutTime if you have authorization to Set Identity Context, but this is not a good idea, because then you are making non-standard use of these fields, and it will confuse the heck out of anyone else that looks at them. _________________ Glenn |
