Hi All,
I just wanted to set up the new JDBCProviders for DB2, I have been experiencing an issue in running the mqsicreateconfigurableservice command. Could you please help?
C:\IBM\MQSI\6.1>mqsireportproperties WBIBROKER -c JDBCProviders -a -o AllReportableEntityNames
JDBCProviders
DB2
Informix
Informix_With_Date_Format
Microsoft_SQL_Server
Oracle
Sybase_JConnect6_05
BIP8071I: Successful command completion.
C:\IBM\MQSI\6.1>mqsicreateconfigurableservice WBIBROKER -c JDBCProviders -o DB2 -n connectionURLFormat -v "jdbc:DB2://localhost:50000/SAMPLE:user=db2admin;password=database@123;"
BIP8984W: Configurable service object name 'JDBCProviders : DB2 : connectionURLFormat' was not found.
The user has tried to delete or modify a configurable service object name that does not exist.
Check the names of the existing configurable services using the mqsireportproperties command. Then modify the external resource object name and reissue the command.
BIP2087E: Broker WBIBROKER was unable to process the internal configuration message.
The entire internal configuration message failed to be processed successfully.
Use the messages following this message to determine the reasons for the failure. If the problem cannot be resolved after reviewing these messages, contact your IBM Support center. Enabling service tr
ace may help determine the cause of the failure.
BIP8036E: Negative response received.
This command sends an internal configuration message to the broker, the response received indicated that the internal configuration message was unsuccessful.
Check that the WebSphere MQ transport is available. Check the system log for further information.
The ODBC setup for the database SAMPLE is already done. Could anybody help me in fixing this issue? I am not sure what I am missing here.
Thank you

Also...
DO NOT CHANGE THE CONNECTION URL FORMAT.
It is interpreted as a PATTERN to use to FILL IN PIECES from the rest of the service.
So where it says "[servername]" it will be REPLACED with the text from the serverName property. |
