I wonder if anyone could give me a brief outline of the steps I need to do to perform this task.
We need to move a qmanager which is in a cluster to another system. I know we can use MS03 to save/recreate the qmanager.
Was just wondering if any clustering commands need to be run e.g refresh cluster after we have receated the qmanager on the new system? |

The safe thing to do is remove the qmgr from the cluster entirely, first all the queues then the channels, and then add the new qmgr. |

a qmgr is known in the cluster by its qmgr id. using the object save from ms03 and a new created queuemanager (new qmgr id) will make it a new queuemanager in the cluster (still showing the old one if you do not follow the advice given by mqjeff) _________________ Regards, Butcher |

The WMQ Queue Manager Clusters manual and the InfoCenter document how to remove a queue manager from a cluster. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.
