What do you think?

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions. |

This is a terrible question.
Most of your questions are terrible.
Please do not ask general questions like this. There's been a *ton* of discussion about almost all of the questions you ask.
Please spend your own time reading, searching, thinking, and trying things.
Then please ask specific questions, not general questions.

I deployed a flow with 10 instances, and then I deployed the same flow in two egs with 5 instances each. The performance was different. Is it because of XYZ? |

sorry for posting the question in general way...
Below statement are correct or not
Depends on requirement. Each EG is a process (u can check DataFlowEngine.exe in task manager processes). Now if you want to spread out your load, then you can go for multiple EG. Else you can go for additional instances. Again one more point is that in a single EG, you cant go more than 255 instances of a single flow.

In 99.999999% of the cases...
A. If you are in IT it is almost impossible to come up with a question that hasn't been asked many times before. You just have to find that Q&A.
B. Same goes for writing code - its already be written. You are not the first one to have your particular coding problem. You just have to find that code and copy it for your own use.
C. Searching in Google is a skill. A very easy one to aquire, but a skill nonetheless.
Once you accept A and B, you realize the value of C.
I only got into IT around the turn of the century. How anything got done before email and Google puzzles me.
Regarding multiple instances and/or multiple EGs:
