Hi,
I'm trying to install MQSeries Integrator 2.0 on Windows 2000 SP2.
At the beginning of the installation process, I get the message "UnInstaller setup failed to initialize. Uninstallation may need to be done manually. (BIP8605E)". After that, MQSI installs up to 98%. When setting up the environment variables, the installation aborts without any message or warning. As a result, MQSI does not create the necessary Windows User Groups, nor the MQS components like SYSTEM.BROKER.CONFIG.QUEUE.
The last entry in the mqsi2.log reads 'Updating 'lib' system environment variable with 'E:PROGRA~1IBMMQS~1.0lib' (this process was not completed, the lib variable doesn't contain the updated value).
My Windows 2000 installation is fresh, the installed database is DB2 6.1 FP4.
I'm very grateful for any suggestions.

In the meantime I got the solution to this problem: V2.0 of MQSeries Integrator does not support Windows 2000.
Installing V2.0.1 of MQSI worked without any problems... |
