Hi,
I found a Java code on net in which on giving the queue manager name and queue name the contents of input file are converted to MQ message and placed on that queue. My doubt here is that when this java code is run on a remote machine, if we give the queue manager name as the queue manger name of Corporate Message Hub available on another remote machine will this code execute? |

how can we tell from the information you gave us? you did not show the program or the source you took it from. wait .... i'll look into my crystal ball..........
well, is this code designed to work as a client or does it just use local bindings? look at it.
there are other supportpacs and tools out there that do file to q work, even as client. search here or check the mq supportpacs .... _________________ Regards, Butcher |

Check out the File Mover open source from Capitalware. This can work in client mode.
Any client mode program will need to locate the QM host, port and know the channel name, this may be supplied in a CCDT. |
