I have a java applet containing an MQ client. Throughout development this has worked perfectly however now that I'm trying to go live with a customer I've run into difficulties connecting to the MQ server via their proxy.

I've looked in the browser settings and the java settings to define the proxy but it seems they only have options for http/https/ftp etc. Ticking the 'use for all protocols' checkbox simply uses the same server for http/https/ftp, i.e. not used for the MQ connection.

Has anyone come across this before or have an idea how I can go about fixing it?

Kind regards,

James
