Do you mean namespaces or namelist?

Assuming you mean a namelist, it's a list of object names that you need to refer to as a single entity. Like a list of cluster names for which a single queue manager is a full repository.

The clue is in the name - NameList - List Of Names

In those situations where you need to make a list of names.

When you went to google and searched for 'namelist+mq', what did you learn?

There is a wonderful IBM Redbook WebSphere MQ V6 Fundamentals. Search for it on Google, then download it, then read it.

I think I will use it when I need to create a full repos qmgr.

I will add the cluster name to the namelist.

Think again...

And just how many clusters do you intend having?

Aside from everything the esteemable exerk has said, what makes you think it was a cluster namelist being discussed in this old thread?
