Do you mean namespaces or namelist?

Assuming you mean a namelist, it's a list of object names that you need to refer to as a single entity. Like a list of cluster names for which a single queue manager is a full repository.
The clue is in the name - NameList - List Of Names _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

In those situations where you need to make a list of names.

When you went to google and searched for 'namelist+mq', what did you learn?
There is a wonderful IBM Redbook WebSphere MQ V6 Fundamentals. Search for it on Google, then download it, then read it. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

I think I will use it when I need to create a full repos qmgr.
I will add the cluster name to the namelist. |

And just how many clusters do you intend having? _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

Aside from everything the esteemable exerk has said, what makes you think it was a cluster namelist being discussed in this old thread? |
