First find 100 servers. Or ask why you need so many queue managers on fewer servers.

No need to find 100 servers. This is a job for z/OS.

Maybe but its much harder to find 100 z/OS MQ Admins than 100 Unix MQ Admins.

But you only need 10 z/OS MQ admins, since clearly they do the work of 10 Unix MQ admins each.

But huge amounts of fun watching 100 Unix Admins trying to find where they type crtmqm on z/OS.

But this does actually tie back to a serious point - why 100 new queue managers? Why not 2 or 3 really big ones - high end Unix (I'm told Power 7 is a cost effective platform) or z/OS?

I'd certainly sooner administer 100 z/OS based queue managers than 100 queue managers on any other platform. Assuming there was absolutely no alternative to having 100 queue managers.

Maybe as the OP hasn't responded it was just a wind-up.

But anyway - why not 100 QMGRs on my Windows box

Given the OP's track record of postings I suspect not.

There's a retail client that uses qmgrs at the other end of a point-of-sale terminal - 3500+ qmgrs, or some such number.

So why do they need one each?
