Hi,
Instead of using Tso MQapps( MQ accessed from ispf), Can we use Batch JCL to process all the defintion same as MQ panel in mainframe. If so could you please direct me to the URL or Link where I can get the Sample JCLs. Motive is to perform Huge number Cloning from the existing Definition. |

check the system administration guide, program CSQUTIL.
You can use CSQUTIL to create a file or member with define command from existing objects (display with makedef)
These files can be processed by CSQUTIL again to execute these define commands on any of your z/OS queuemanagers you like.
I also use this for boackup, for cloning, or to bring objects from test to production and so on. of course the created files can be changed by scripts or whatever.
This all can run in batch. JCL examples are in the manual. _________________ Regards, Butcher |

Go to google. Type CSQUTIL in the search box. Click Search button. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.
