Hello,
What could be the reasons for a MQRC 2018 on a channel message exit when receiving and trying to OPEN/PUT/CLOSE a queue with some data?
One of our message exits worked for quite some time without reporting errors, but recently has started to complain about with this MQRC... |

One important information:
I noticed that we get those 2018´s when we open/put/close a queue all times the message exit is called ON RECEIVING a message from outside.
When SENDING a message, our open/put/close operations work fine. |

Yes, back to year 2008. My guess is that I did fix the code on the sending routine, but not on the receiving routine.
Anyway, I am kind happy today, one of our mainframe MQ based systems is going to Unix...doing the switching right now.
