Hi all,

I'm using MQ v7.0.1.0 on Windows 2003 platform. I've collected statistics information from a queue. I can see that the statistics information is generated every half an hour to SYSTEM.ADMIN.STATISTICS.QUEUE, but amqsmon won't get it out of there.

With this command I only get an empty file:
amqsmon -m TESTQMGR1 -t statistics >C:\MQLogs\TESTQMGR1.STATS.log

With MqV6 I've collected statistics many times before, but now I just can't figure out where it's going wrong.. Can anyone help me?

what do you get if you don't redirect the amqsmon output?

Are there any errors in the log from running amqsmon? Does it give an error?

Hi Jeff,

I got nothing. Nothing to stdout nor to error files. But after resting the weekend I figured out the obvious problem: The amgsmon.exe I was using was for MQ v6. In MQ v7 it's a sample program and of course a different version to v7.
