I m using MQ7.0 + Windows XP and MQ explorer, mistakenly updated the wrong parameters in the Switch file of the XA resource managers in QMGR dialog and restarted the QMGR .

It showed the error while restarting the QMGR as XA resource manager initialisation failure.

How can i change the values of the properties and make the QMGR to run again. Since to change the values , i need to run the QMGR again . But now it s not possible .

Kindly help us on this .

Take a look at the amqmdain command.

I used amqmdain to remove the resource manager information

amqmdain reg QMPFI01D -c remove -s XAResourceManager\XA reference -v *

But it s not removing the XA resource manager stanza.

Kindly help us on this .

WMQ on Windoze stores and uses config information in the Win registry, not in a qm.ini file.

What return code or error messags from amqmdain command did you receive? Post the entire conversation from the c: prompt - the command you typed and the response from amqmdain; then post it here.

What happened when you tried to restart the qmgr?

I am not getting any reason code or error code from the execution of amqmdain command .But still the problem persists when trying to restart the QMGR as "XA Resource manager initialisation failed "

Did amqmdain start? Did it end?

Please post the complete conversation here. Copy/paste everything you did at the c: prompt.
