Hello MQSeries.net Team,
Please need a clarification regarding the below issue:
Channel retrying issue due to message sequence number mismatch:
1) First we need to stop the channel at sener side and receiver side.
2) assign a sequence number(i.e,same number) both sides.
3) finally start the channel at sender and receiver side.
Please do rectify me if i am wrong up to my understanding.

You're wrong. First you need to investigate why the channel is in re-try; there shouldn't be a sequence number error under normal or even slightly abnormal circumstances. Then you need to work out what you're going to do about the channel.

IMHO, the most common cause of sequence wrap mismatch is an administrator at one at one end of the channel deleting and redefining the channel.
What o/s?
What WMQ version/release/maintenance?
