Is it an existing qmgr Or the New Qmgr that you are trying to start first time ?
If its existing then has someone played with qmgr files earlier before you Ended the qmgr ?
If you have some more piece of info. then that would be helpful. thanks. _________________ *Life will beat you down, you need to decide to fight back or leave it. |

Have you also checked the qmgr log ?
Do you find some MQ Qmgr Process related error in there ?
some fixpack was installed on the base version of mq ?
Whats the version & platform of your MQ ?

thanks for that plenty information. almost hard to read everything you provided.
see your local experienced system administrator who knows how to track and solve problems, and who knows where to look for error messages and information, or at least who knows how to provide required information when asking somewhere else for help.

If this is seriously the version of your WMQ, I'm surprised it ever started.
If the queue manager gives a 2195 (internal error) when you try and start it, why are you surprised you get a 2059 (queue manager unavailable) when you try and use it?
As others have said, get a grip, look in the logs, look for FDC files, in short try to diagnose the problem. Just posting "I've got an error code help me" on an Internet forum is not going to get you anywhere.
Especially as we can't see your set up, don't know what's happening at your site, can't investigate what happening and don't believe you're running MQv2. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
