the broker manuals have sections about possible topology and environment setup ...

this is not a "can someone please read the documentation for me" - forum. at least not from my point of view.

No, each broker must have its own QMgr.

I really wish IBM had added a broker queuename prefix to allow multiple brokers to share a QM. The only reason I know of is the conflict over queue names.

If your system is too tight on resources to run a second queue manager, it's too tight on resources to run a second broker...
