You could attach your XML data a /BLOB/BLOB body (rather than XML). Then send the message through a ResetContextDescriptor node, which is set to reset the header to the XML message domain. This will get your blob parsed and set into an XML body.
It is tendious, but you could also parse the XML in your plugin and dynamically create the necessary XML MbElements.
