Are there any real advantages of using these in a WMB project?

I saw this thread about enabling it. But the clearcase/AntHillPro team is asking for Business reason behind this.

Can anyone help me out with this please
Thanks

It would usually be the build/version management team that would REQUEST that you add these to your flows and etc, rather than ask you to justify them in the first place.

They allow for an identification of what level of code is deployed in the runtime. This would seem to be of value...

Very true.... However it only works if the standard is enforced with a rod of Iron. Otherwise, not worth bothering with IMHO.

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions.

It's better to make an effort in this direction, somehow, than to just ignore the thought at all. Maybe using keywords is not the choice to do so that is made, but some choice should be.

Yes I agree with this, but historically they never asked anyone or nobody ever asked the release team to do this.

do you mean versioning standards?

Does this really help when multiple environments are running multiple versions of the same flow?

Will this be a ESQL file version or the flow version ?
