I am trying to create EDIFACT message set and trying to set values to the attributes of that message set.
I am getting an error saying "5456 : Element is based on a list type. The TDS format does not support list types".
Can i find any link where i can get steps to create EDIFACT message set??? |

You can buy the message set from IBM.
Or check out the WMB samples where an example is shown. |

Simply, why?
Any message set like this is going to be complex and very time consuming to create by hand.
Then of course, how do you know you are really following the standard correctly?
So you start using your hand crafted one. Whe happens when the other end starts sending messages in a way you had not envisaged. Then they say, we are using a standard edifact message. We got our xsd (etc) from IBM.
Oppsss...... I'll leave the rest for you to figure out.
I think the last line of my sig just abouyt sums it up. _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions. |

IBM give you a sample, if you don't know how to access the samples, then I would suggest you are not ready to create a complex message set. |
