ISSUE
I´m using the "database insert" node. Problem is that when I encounter a problem with the "insert" ODBC only returns the reason why something got wrong without sufficient detail.

SCENARIO
(windows server 2003),, MQ > broker 6.x > SQL server 2005

EXAMPLE
The message broker detected an error whilst executing the given statement. An exception has been thrown to cut short the SQL program. See the following messages for details of the error:

Quote:
...''[Microsoft][SQL Native Client]Numeric value out of range'' ....

Well, what numeric value was out of range? I can see the statement generated, but it doesn´t contain any hard values, only variables:

Quote:
( BROKER.EG ) ('.XX054_Parts_DataInsert', '70.2') Error detected whilst executing the SQL statement ''INSERT INTO Database.XXDW.dbo.tblSouArticleLocal ( FWCOMC, FWPNO, FWDE1, FWCOMR, FWATYP, FWSGRP, FWBRAN, FWVCRE, FWTIME, FWACT, FWBUY, FWZCP, FWSPNO, FWMOD, FWPRSG, FWPRLI, FWQSOQ, FWMLT3, FWMLT1, FWVCRER, FWVMDF, FWTMDF, FWTCDE, FWXRPC, FWXRPW, FWPNOR, FWGRPD, FWZPU, FWNETW, FWGRW, FWKIT, FWXSTR, FWXFOR, FWXABC, FWXPM, FWXPRC, FWXDT3, FWXTX2, FWGRA, FWCHRF, FWPNON, FWDE2, FWCUR, FWVLST, FWSPRI, FWLANA, FWQUNI, FWVOLU, FWGLDE1, FWCEX, FWCLI, FWZPPN, FWQPRC, FWPDI, FWVVAL, FWNZCP, FWMODL, FWUnitOfMeasure, FWMaterialCode, FWMaterialDesc, JobKey ) VALUES (#sr0.CompanyCode, #sr0.ArticleOrKitNumber, #sr0.ArticleDescription, #sr0.ModelOrCommercialNumber, #sr0.ArticleType, #sr0.SalesGroup, #sr0.BrandCode, XX050.CastDateToNumeric(#sr0.Dates.RecordCreationDate), XX050.CastTimeToNumeric(#sr0.Dates.RecordCreationTime), #sr0.ArticleActive, #sr0.ArticleResponsiblePersonCode, #sr0.CostPrice, #sr0.PreferedSupplierId, #sr0.Model, #sr0.ProductCategorySubGroup, #sr0.ProductGroupOrLine, #sr0.StandardOrderQuantity, #sr0.LeadTimeArticleDependent, #sr0.TotalLeadTime, XX050.CastDateToNumeric(#sr0.Dates.ArticleCreationDate), XX050.CastDateToNumeric(#sr0.Dates.ArticleLastModifiedDate), XX050.CastTimeToNumeric(#sr0.Dates.ArticleLastModifiedTime), #sr0.SpecialTransactionCode, #sr0.ReplacementCode1, #sr0.ReplacementCode2, #sr0.ReplacementArticleNumber, #sr0.DiscountGroup, #sr0.ValidPurchasePrice, #sr0.NetWeight, #sr0.GrossWeight, #sr0.Kit, #sr0.StructureType, #sr0.ForecastCode, #sr0.ABCCode, #sr0.PurchaseOrManufactureCode, #sr0.PriceCalculationCode, #sr0.ProductionClass, #sr0.VATCode, #sr0.Grade, #sr0.OwnerOfArticle, #sr0.SupplierArticleNumber, #sr0.SupplierArticleDescription, #sr0.PurchaseCurrencyCode, XX050.CastDateToNumeric(#sr0.Dates.LastProductionDate), #sr0.SupplierPriorityCode, #sr0.CountryCode, #sr0.QtyPerPackageBoxPallet, #sr0.UnitVolume, #sr0.ArticleDescriptionEnglish, #sr0.SetupCostEXT, #sr0.SetupCostLimitQty, #sr0.PurchasePriceAfterDeductionOfDiscount, #sr0.PurchasePriceBasedOnQty, #sr0.CurrentExtraPurchaseDiscount, XX050.CastDateToNumeric(#sr0.ValidDateForNewSTK), #sr0.NewSTK, #sr0.ModeLocal, #sr0.UnitOfMeasure, #sr0.MaterialCode, #sr0.MaterialDescription, #sr1.usr.BatchId ) ''.

THINGS I`VE TRIED BUT FAILED
1. Tracing using ODBC in Control Panal > Admin tools > ODBC sources
2. Tracing using SQL Server 2005 Profiler.
3. Sniff packets using Wireshark. Set SQL Server to only use TCP/IP). Tried both Vmware and VirtualBox with networking set to NAT and "bridged". Don´t know much about these networks setups though,, might set up it the wrong way..

Any suggestions? =)

A usertrace of the flow should show what values the variables have been evaluated to.
