C:\Documents and Settings\kumar>crtmqm gnr
WebSphere MQ queue manager created.

C:\Documents and Settings\kumar>strmqm gnr
WebSphere MQ was unable to display an error message 7047.

i am using MQ version :7.0.0.0

This problem can be occur

1) Check the error logs and ffdc logs for more details.
2) check if there is any amq* process running , if yes kill it and try to start the queue manager.
3) which version of mq you are using ?

Upgrade to 7.0.1.3 7.0.0.0 is not the best / latest.
