We are using V6.0.2.2 MQ client and connected to MQ server V7.0.1.1.
We are looking forward to migrate to V7.0.1.3 client and will remain use MQ server V7.0.1.1.
Are there any compatability issues with these versions ? also difference btwn V7.0.1.1 and V7.0.1.3 ? which one is best to migrate client box?
Are there any compatibility issues w AIX 6.1 TL6 and MQ 7.0.1.3 client or DB2 9.5.4a or DB2 9.5.6? If yes what are they ?

Please suggest me the best.

i suggest you read the release notes / change notes that comes with the fixpaks as well as the hardware and software reuqirements of the proper product versions to see if there are any incompatibilities.

Client and Server version of MQ do not need to match (within quite broad tolerances).

The only possible "compatibility" issues may relate to APARs (known problems) that exist and are fixed from fixpack to fixpack. This type is issue is quite rare.

You can review the APARs in each fixpack via http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21254675
