Hello
I need to replicate an MQ 5.3 to a new server, but I need to get all the configuration of the old MQ. Can anyone help me in order to obtain the configuration of the queues and for the channels?
Thank very much

...and do not replicate to V5.3, which is now over three years out of support. _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

There is more to replicating that just MQ object definitions and OAM profiles. Think about file system sizing, recovery log type & sizing (& other args used on crtmqm), mqs.ini & qm.ini customizations, exits, preserving application messages, conname in channels on remote systems (including clients), SSL certs, clustering considerations, automated qmgr startup, monitoring. Have I forgotten anything?

Agree. If something goes horribly wrong on V5.3 the vendor will not provide support! Take this opportunity to upgrade to V7.0.1. _________________ Glenn |
