Hi,
I have an environment set up
with broker database as DB2 in solaris.ConfigMgr in win2000 with DB as DB2.I want to connect to Oracle database for inserting SQL queries.
Is that possible? if so, would like to know how can I connect to remote database (Oracle).
Is that .ODBC.ini details are applicable to connect to remote database or is that only for BrokerDatabase setup?
Add an entry in .odbc.ini for your oracle database. Then use the name of the entry as your datasource when you configure a Compute/Database node. The trick is to keep in mind that the broker will access your Oracle database using the same userid/password that is being used for the Broker database.
