I install an application, and it will not start

(I Know it needs resources, but that is not quite the issue)

If I bring down WAS in taht state, it will not restart.

I guess that WAS is trying to bring up the application, but can not succeed, therefore it can not restart

How do I handle this situation

Find the System.out and the System.err logs. They should tell you what is wrong.
