Hello jwende,
I hope u are using the webpshere application server, to set the polling interval value during MQQCF creation.
In case of Weblogic, where XAQCF is created during MQJMS bindings creation, is it possible to specify the polling interval ?
If so, how?
My problem is , even after the MQ Queue gets the message, the onMessage() of the corresponding MDB is triggered only after 1000 - 2000 ms. I want to change this behaviour as it is having performance issues. .
Suggest pls |

Split from this 6 year old post. (!)
Dhinesh S V - don't reopen old posts. Even if the problem is similar, the software levels will be (or should be) dramatically different. The accepted method is to open a new thread, including a link to the old thread if you're certain it's relevant.

Which version of MQ are you on?
I seem to remember there is something about JMS MDBs to be delivered in V 7.0.1.5 _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

Hi ,
Vitor
- Thanks for the info, I was not aware, and wil follow the methods hereafter.
fjb_saper
- I am using MQ 6.0 with Weblogic 10.3.1
I got to know that, in case of Websphere appserver , during MQ QCF creation itself there is a parameter to specify the polling interval
(http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/wasinfo/v7r0/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.websphere.express.doc/info/exp/ae/ucli_pqcfm.html - - Polling Interval )
Now, Is there any way to specify the same in the bindings creation .. .
Suggest pls |

Hi ,
Further i have tested the same MDB application, when listening to Weblogic jms Queue. In this case, the interval is very less and the onMessage() got triggered in 5 - 10 ms after the message has been pumped into jms Queue
But the same application when connected with a MQJMS binded queue takes more than 1500 ms to trigger the onMessage() after the MQQueue has got the message
Is ther any setting in the binding which I am missing , or is this the default behaviour? |
