There is an xml file under /var/mqm/config directory. Does it have any use? I can think there should be some purpose of it but could not figure it out. Do any one of you have any idea ?

thanks

I'm away from anything MQ-ish. What does the file contain?

It exists in the same logical place on Windows, and appears to contain information about certain commands for various platforms.

But it appears to be an internal file with no public documentation in the Info Center, so I wouldn't do anything like delete it or modify it.

Or, alternatively, you could delete it to see what, if anything, happens.

Get back to us with the results.

I do not like to delete it do anything but thought whether we can do any useful stuff as out of it as it contains some command but not sure how to use or where this file is used. That is why I asked the question in the forum. FYI, Accidently, i deleted it from one of my dev boxes, nothing will happened. MQ is running okay.

I was just( probably unnecessarily) curious.

I don't know what it's for either, but the name "isa" could mean "IBM Support Assistant".

If you wanted to be extra cautious, there doesn't appear to be anything in it that would be tied to a specific machine or platform, so you should be fine with restoring a copy from another install.
