Are Q2F transfers supported? I have the web-based MQ FTE Info Ctr (updated Feb 2010), the Get Started Redbook, The SOA solutions Redbook, the Solutions Redbook and haven't found it yet. Maybe the info on Q2F is hiding in one of these books and/or info centers. If this feature is available it would be nice if it were more front and center. I don't want to ellicit an RTMS. |

Easy to do in WMB.
I think IBM understand this requirement for FTE. |

zpat - understanding the requirement is good, but documenting its implementation is even better. RTM doesn't seem to help. |

OK. I found out through another channel that Q2F and F2Q will be supported shortly in MQ FTE 7.0.3. In the meanwhile the features might be obtained on request from IBM (provided you have a license). |

Understanding the requirement means that IBM know that customers want this feature.
IBM sometimes tell customers what's coming up - but it's best not to post this information until it's announced. |

7.0.3 has now been formally announced, here, and it confirms that message-to-file and file-to-message support is included. |
