I have Integration Bus, Integration Toolkit, and Integration Explorer installed on the same CentOS VM. I successfully created and tested the default configuration via the Explorer. I am running logged in with my own ID which is in mqm and mqbrkrs groups. According to the documentation (Integration Bus Info Center) I have a choice of 3 methods to start the Toolkit. #1. menu - trying to run Ibm Integration Toolkit 9.0.0.2 from the GNOME Applications menu results in nothing. #2. ./launcher results in a warning message "mqsiprofile repetition disallowed" (I already ran mqsiprofile from .bash_profile) and the script exits with no more messages and no log. Just for a lark, I commented out mqsiprofile in .bash_profile, logged in and tried ./launcher - this time the script just exits with no message and no result. |

It might help to rerun (or run for the first time)

If you installed IBM Integration Toolkit without root or administrator authority, switch to a user with root or administrator authority and run the following script file from the IBM Integration Toolkit home directory to complete the installation:
Linux on x86: <IIT90_Home>/wmbt/postconfig/postInstall_admin.sh |

Thanks for the reply. I guess I did not run this script before because I installed logged in as root. But I ran the script anyway (logged in as root), then exited and logged in with my ID, tried ./launcher again with the same result. |

When you attempt running the toolkit, what is the value of your $DISPLAY environment variable? can you run xeyes with success? _________________ MQ & Broker admin |
