Hi,
With MQSeries as JMS service provider, how do we set MQEnvironment values like hostname,channel etc? I would also like to know whether we need MQSeries client installed on the machine where JMS client/JNDI provider is running..

any help is greatly appreciated

You set the client variables on the qcf/tcf when you create it with JMSAdmin:

define qcf(clientQCF) ... transport(CLIENT) channel(MY.CHANNEL) HOSTNAME(my.host.name) port(myport#)

Hope ur not avoiding 'MQSeries using java' doc.. it should be very handy tool.
