According to "Quick Beginnings for iSeries" the license file will be copied with the common product installation on iSeries.
My customer has aquired the needed license and wants to upgrade 5.3 to 7.0.1.
Do I understand this right? Is there no additional lic. key needed during the installation?
We just want to avoid an unpleasant surprise

Hi,

As you said license will be installed with the product, there is no additional license key required..
I have done upgrade on isereis 5.3 to 6 one year back..
Have to good time

!! Be prepared well!!!
Share your experience once done with 5.3 to 7
