Hi,
The System default remote queue (SYSTEM.DEFAULT.REMOTE.QUEUE) on my queue manager which is running on an AIX box is not available.(Need to find out why it is missing ). When i try to create the queue, i am getting AMQ8147 which is obvious because the queue template is not available.
My question is -
Is there a way to create this queue without restarting the queue manager?
or strmqm -c is the only option to recreate this object? Let me know your thoughts. The MQ version is 6.0.2.0.
Many thanks. _________________ Regards,

Dump the definition from another queue manager and run it in perhaps? _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

You can create it by specifying every parameter on the define command, so that no reference is made to the default object.
Get a complete export of an existing queue of this type to generate the command for you (MO71 or MS03). |
