I have noticed that when checking to see if the MQ Listener is running I find the following(Listener is started by Qmgr on start)

/usr/mqm/bin/runmqlsr -r -m Qmgr -t TCP -p 1415

I can't find any documentation on the "-r" parameter. Does anyone know what it is used for?

I have also found the the channel initiator when started by the qmgr also has a "-r" which is not documented either

I believe it means registered (to the qmgr) ... but then if you want to be sure you'd have to open a PMR as it is undocumented...

That could be the case. I know if you start them within a script and do not specify the '-r' it does not use it. If you have the Qmgr start them the '-r' is there even if you don't use it. I might have to submit a PMR to get the doc on it.

If it's undocumented, you won't get the doc even through a PMR.

You might get an explanation. Or you might not. But you won't get documentation for an undocumented option.
