Hi,
I am using WMBv7. I have MB Toolkit installed on my system. The broker runtime is installed on different machine.
I have created broker on the runtime environment.
From toolkit when I try connecting to the broker, I am getting the error 2063.[MQRC_SECURITY_ERROR].
What may be the solution for this.
I thought this requires some OAM permissions, but what are those permissions that could be provided to this user.
Thanks |

are you connecting to local or remote broker? if remote, which svrconn you are using to connect to the broker?
refer to this link:

Thanks.
I am connecting to the remote broker.
The userid on which the broker is running is member of mqm, mqbrkrs, so is there a need of giving <setmqaut> as mentioned in the link which you had sent.
Well, assume that the <test> is the userid on which the toolkit is running. I am not able to connect to the remote broker.
This is the error I am getting in qmgr logs.
[ERROR]
AMQ8079: Access was denied when attempting to retrieve group membership
information for user 'test'.
EXPLANATION:
WebSphere MQ, running with the authority of user 'xxx@devmachine, was
unable to retrieve group membership information for the specified user.
[\ERROR].
Please tell me by giving what permission and where i will be able to connect my toolkit to the broker running on devmachine.
Thanks |
