| Is it possible for a Windows MQ client to connect to a Sun Solaris MQ server? Or do you have to install Solaris MQ Client to connect to a Solaris MQ server? |

How exactly would you install a Solaris MQ Client (or any Solaris software) onto a Windows machine? 
Of course you can connect a client on one platform to a queue manager runnng on another. 30 seconds of experimentation would have proved this and been far faster than posting here. Or you could have looked at the MQ Explorer you were using here and wondered how it could possibly know what the Unix queue manager looked like.....
