Hi All,
I am having an issue in calling the external map using WTX map node in WMB message flow. following is my environment details.
WMB 6.1.0.5
WTX 8.2.0.4
WTX 8.2.0.4 for Integration Servers
Here is what I am trying to do:
I created a simple map that converts the XML to COBOL. I complied and tested in design studio successfully.
Then i took the compiled map(.mmc) file from the WTX workpsace and put it in different folder on my machine lets say C:\TEMP.
I cerated a message flow using MQInput --> WTXMap --> MQOutput.
Following are my settings for the each node in the flow:
MQInput: Queue name, Domain as "XMLNSC"
WTXmap: Selected the path of .mmc file that i stored in a folder in "local Compiled Map" field.
MQOutput: queue name and changed the advanced properties to make the "Message Context" as "Default".
When I deployed this BAR file and run the map I am getting the following error in ExceptionList:
Quote: |
<Error>
<TimeStamp>08/20/10 13:22:39</TimeStamp>
<Description>Map Failure</Description>
<ErrNo>8</ErrNo>
<MapName>C:\TEMP\WTXPocMap.mmc</MapName>
<Instance>11</Instance>
<ErrText>One or more inputs was invalid</ErrText>
</Error> |
What are all the files that I need from WTX in order for me to run a map? I am missing anything above? Appreciate your help. _________________ DilSe..

I want you to do a simple test on your side, instead of copying the mmc to a different location, would you take it from the exact location and give a try and see. _________________ Regards

Thanks Gaya3.
When I pointed to the WTX workspace .mmc file, the flow works fine with no issues. But I would like to do it to test with a separate location other than workspace as I am no the one that would be implementing the WTX map and hence I will not be having the workspace corresponding to the WTX map. Thats the reason I am trying to test the flow with just the .mmc file on my machine. Please let me know if this file itself is not suffiecient for me to run the WTX map in WMB flow.
Thansk for your help... _________________ DilSe..

Set it like this and give a try
MQInput: Queue name, Domain as "BLOB" - WTx map input understands only bytes, stream of bytes,
WTXmap: Selected the path of .mmc file that i stored in a folder in "local Compiled Map" field.
MQOutput: queue name and changed the advanced properties to make the "Message Context" as "Default".
Keep a trace node after MQ input and after WTx Map to catch the MB trace
Enable the Map Trace and paste the trace here _________________ Regards
