I have this message flow.

I want to know the total no of messages it has processed since restart.

What should be the procedure ?

I tried to use trace but it gives junk output only.

used this command:

mqsichangeflowstats MB7BROKER -s -e Test -f TESTmsgflow -c active -t none -b basic

mqsichangetrace MB7BROKER -u -e Test -l normal

mqsireadlog MB7BROKER -u -e Test -o trace.xml

I am using WMB 7.0

Please help

Thanks and Regards

Oh dear. you are putting your toe into a big lake that is sometimes very murky indeed.(I know it is early in the day)

There are several ways to get this information.
You have chosen to use the user trace one so you are missing the last (& vital) step.

Once you have read the trace log (mqsireadlog...) you get an xml formatted output file. THen you need to format it using mqsiformatlog

That will give you something more readable...

IMHO, this is not the best method of getting this data if you want to do ir on a regular basis. Publishing the data is (again IMHO) to a queue is the better long term solution.
This is described in the infocentre

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions.
